The Card Security Code for Visa, MasterCard and Discover is a 3-digit number on the back of your credit card immediately following your credit card number. The Card Security Code for American Express is a 4-digit number located on the front of your credit card, either to the right or left above your credit card number. In this case, the 1234 is highlighted in red.
